Frozen if replacing all the water. Otherwise, make the lye solution in a reduced amount of water and add milk (room temp or little finger temp ;)) just after adding lye solution to oils. I have been doing the latter for over 20 years, works great !

Hello all ! Can anyone explain why there are two specific sap value out there for coconut oil ? ,183 or ,190 (for NaOH). I know that they are based on a range, but you only seem to see those two.

Hello all, I'm playing around with CP formulas containing propolis alcohol extract. Anyone have experience with this ? I'm wondering how much I could used per kg of oils without entering problems with the alcohol content or the propolis itself !! I would probably also add honey and beeswax...
