Soap is too pretty to use / good enough to eat

Intresting. I guess having a good grip of the soap is also a factor. I also find soap made from a pringles can easy to use. Im loving all the diff opinions here truly learning a lot from everyone's input.

Soap is too pretty to use / good enough to eat

Glad to hear your opinions bout it. Helps a lot. I guess I'll save my cupcakes for holidays. I also prefer soap bars in the shower. Guess I'll have to mix up my range to see how people will react to it. I think I'll categorize them as artisan (fancy), & classic or oldfashion and probably wrap...

Soap is too pretty to use / good enough to eat

I'm known for my fancy stuff so i guess I'll make a classic range to compliment it. Makes me wonder what would classify as a less fancy soap? Would a 2 tone mica swirl top with a single color body still be too pretty to use? Love your witty comebacks. I should practice that. Thanks for the tip.

Soap is too pretty to use / good enough to eat

Hi! I started selling my artisan soaps at craft fairs. I've got a lot of attention coz it's not common where I'm from. People who stop and admire my stuff say it's good enough to eat (i make chocolate scented cupcakes) or they say it's too pretty to use (my lavender drop swirl soaps). I do get...

Storing Bath bombs to avoid humidity

I use the fine citric acid. Will def watch his video. I've added some conrflour same amout as my citric acid. It seemed to have helped a lot, but leaves my tub with a starchy residue. Its rinses out with water though but id rather look for an alternative.

Storing Bath bombs to avoid humidity

Hi! I can't seem to store my bath bombs properly. I tried making bb powder placing them in a twist jar, 3 days into it, it fizzed. I tried double shrink wrapping & it's starting to fizz. My bath bombs are dried in an airtight container w/ a mini dehumidifier for 48 hours. I've been wanting...

    Finished Bath Bomb Issues?

I find that my BB also stick together during drying so I just make sure i leave enough space. I live in a humid country so I dry mine in an airtight container w/ a mini dehumidifier. They dry perfectly. My problem is after drying, they always seem to find a way to fizz even when I store them in...

    Bath bombs and pre-mature fizzing

Thanks for the tip. Will try that ratio. Your cup cake bath bombs look soo yummy! Perfect icing! Been eyeing some recently but never considered that they might solve my problems. Thanks so much! Will post an update soon I know it's been a while, but I tried tweaking my recipe as suggested. I...

    Bath bombs and pre-mature fizzing

Nope. I dont add anything to the recipe. I find adding more leads to cracks in my environment. I dont even add any color.

    Bath bombs and pre-mature fizzing

Hi! I live in a very humid country and my bombs that dry overnight always fizz when i check on them the next day. So instead i let them dry in my camera dry box with a mini dehumidifier. It worked like a charm. So the next day i left one out in my room to check what will happen. An hour later it...
