Don't forget SM3 has been around for years and is very well respected and used by a great many of us.

I didn't mind 8.1 once I got used to it. Windows 10 is okay but is giving one of my "necessary" programs fits and I have to have to track our members and vendors. So I'm rather ambivalent about it.

I think (& remember I'm not in the UK but I am on a forum that is) that you can list all the essential oils you are going to use all the additives including milks that you plan to use but the recipe itself insofar as the oils and lyes must remain constant. Scott is a really, really generous man.

I'm glad you and the children are unharmed but I am so sorry about your stock. I had a similar incident occur a few years ago and I lost most of my stock that day too so I know exactly how you feel.

My first thought was vanilla discolouration as well.

They wasted a lot of soap to make solid soap but they were more worried about getting the hard soap than they were in using up all the soap available. What I don't know is if they kept the liquid soap for dishes and laundry.

As girlish charm pointed out soaking the loofah allows it go back into shape. Very seldom do they come perfectly round and this allows them to round back out. In CP soap it doesn't matter if they are damp. But my understanding is that you really need to soak them for them to go back into shape.

That is a lovely soap that you made. I think the trick to the other one is that you do a Peacock Swirl, then add the yellow centre and then swirl it out to change it from one to the other. Just opinion of course.
