thank you Tara you made my day ... and very true ... I do make both hot and cold process ... just assent sure about partially cooked! You just saved me hundreds of dollars ... meaning I didn’t just toss it all out !

I lost power while making hot process soap in crockpots ... and I have an electric stove ... will I be able to salvage the soap when my power returns? It just barely started to get to applesauce stage around the edges!

Creative wording I have heard is best ... I have had many people ask me if I make LYE free soap ... And my first response is .... it does not exist ... Thank you I never thought about it , but in reality there should not be any Lye , when soap is ready to use.

I make hot process and cold process soap that I sell locally. As far as labeling goes, do you legally have to put lye as an ingredient even though at the end of the process the lye should be no longer an ingredient?

I just picked up some menthol crystals. I make both hot process and cold process soap. I can't find any Hot Process soap formulations with menthol crystals or anything saying NOT to use them in Hot Process. Has anyone used menthol crystals in Hot Process soap?
