I do check the other recipes to my soap calc. that I have ..... I just was going to make a large batch to make a couple of 3lb. molds...that's why I was just fiddling with making my own recipe.

no, I'm not just starting out....I've made several batches...this is my first attempt to make my own recipe. so if I cut the coconut oil down to half and add olive oil at the same amount of the coconut oil will that work??

I want to make this lip balm recipe for valentines and I am missing one oil....The recipe calls for Avocado Oil...I have everything but that....what can I use to replace that oil??....I have seen recipes with Sweet Almond Oil or Grapeseed Oil....could I use one of them???

ok, I got this recipe and I ordered all the supplies I needed to do it ..... I've never worked with palm kernel oil.... So, if I got palm kernel flakes and measured them out as the flake wouldn't the measurement be reduces once the flakes turn liquid form?? I know with making candles the wax...
