I've been thinking on this for a while. How about mixing blue and yellow to make green? I was thinking indigo for blue. There are some gorgeous blues that come from indigo. I think there are different methods of adding it to your soap. I've never used it so I have no suggestions about usage. And...
I like to use 1 Tablespoon of coffee grounds per pound of oil. I prefer to use dry grounds, not wet grounds. Wet grounds end up having a halo around each ground in the finished soap which is just cosmetic, but I don't like the look; but dry grounds don't get that little halo-hard to explain.
When I'm traveling, I wrap wet/recently used soap in a dry wash cloth. It kind of sticks to the cloth but I just use that cloth upon removing the soap...no wasted soap. I too like to travel with a full sized bar and I don't want to leave it behind or throw it away. Just pack a wash cloth from home.
Are you referring to the sweet soda ginger ale or more of a beer "ale"? I remember making pie crust with 7-up in place of water. I guess the idea is the carbonation adds flakiness to the crust. Ginger ale- if you're talking about the soda type- would be about the same as the 7-up I used to use...

I have had great success using rose geranium. Mine is not that particular brand though. It has not accelerated for me but I'm not one to make swirls and designs...my soaps are pretty plain so I don't have experience in whether it gives you time for playing. Rose geranium sticks very well. You...

Another bath treat to cconsider is bath tea. Bath teas involve basically steeping herbs in a large bath tea bag but in your bathtub. Some people add Epsom salts to the herbs or even oats as well as drops of eo. For instance, you could steep lavender buds, chamomile, Epsom salts and lavender eo...
Would you be able to use full fat coconut milk for the milk? It would contain some coconut fat that would saponify along with the olive oil. I'm not sure if this would be an acceptable approach but it may cut the slime factor.
