I just replace some or all of my water with the oat milk. For example, if you usually use 300g water to mix up your lye solution, you can use 300g oat milk instead. Be aware that oat milk goes very gluggy when mixed with lye - make sure you stir it until it is fully dissolved and be prepared...

Agreed - not dos. I sometimes get the little specks of oil on top too - from the soap sweating while going into gel. They might end up going a bit 'soda ash-ey' in a time.

I'm awake now - Monday morning here. Yes, as an embed, or part of a layer that is fine. Just as long as the main 'cake' mixture is CP or HP.

Any sugars in the soap will actually help to increase lather. So using carrot puree, in theory, would help with lather. I've made a soap with carrot puree and it was a nice soap, but not noticeably different to any other soap I've made. It's nice to try it though - and has label appeal. ETA...

Did you know that sniffing Rosemary greatly improves your memory? However, I'm not sure how Rosemary feels about that...

I made some shampoo bars yesterday. Red Ginger and Saffron FO from Candle Science. Sooooo good.

Just increase your OO since it's already in the recipe.

I use candle science FOs a lot and they are mostly good. Which particular ones have you used?

I think you are using hot process - am I correct? There may be additional advice about that from hot process peeps. But my initial advice is that you have too much CO - reduce that to 20%. You also have very little in there to contribute to soap longevity - the palmitic or stearic fatty acids...
