    Charcoal

I added charcoal to one batch, purchased from a pet store and run thru a coffee grinder. The comments I got were its a bit of an exfoliant and it seems to absorb the smell of fish off from your hands. I am gonna make another batch for the fish person so he can test it for me.

Easy do it yourself box!!! I made 2

you can line them with a plastic bag. I buy the small trash can liner ones with no lettering on them. Now they do make some strange marks on the ends but everything else is good to go. If you have lettering on them just make sure it isnt toward the soap as it can come off on the log. I trim...

Easy do it yourself box!!! I made 2

thats how I do mine bit rather than nailing them I gliue them. Oh and I cut extra pieces to work as dividers so I can make smaller batches by stacking them in the back part of the mold. and basically building a dam of sorts. I line with a plastic bag so there is no leakage.

for those of you who use a PVC pipe as a mold

my home depot has little yellow caps that fit in the different pipe sizes. You can tape them to the bottom of the pipe for safety. They also have one that screws in tight, but the screw is huge. so I try not to use that till I get my stand made for it.
