    Oil in lotion and cream becoming rancid?

    Most rancid oils will smell a bit different. Like a sour scent to it. You will know there is something different about it. Keep checking on it.

    Try infusing chamomile and calendula. oil depends on what your putting in the soap. Dead Sea Mud, and clays are good for a face soap as well.
