    Help FO spilled in shoes!

Once the shoes are completely dry, see if rubbing some cornstarch around in them absorbs some of the oil.

    Newbie! Assistance Appreciated!

For your 8.5 ounces fill line, I would melt 8 ounces of wax and use 1/2 oz. of scent to get a feel for it. I've been using about 9%, which would be a little more than 1/2 oz. for your candle. When you pour your candle, do not use all of the wax -- leave just enough in your melting pot to pour...

    Gw 464

I've been using GW464 and haven't had any issues with it, actually it behaves better than some of the other soy waxes I've used. I am curious about a wax by American Soy Organics called Millennium Container Wax. You might look around to see if you find some reviews on this product, so far...

    Gel candles cloudy

If you have some colored gravel or stones as your base in the bottom of the glass, it shouldn't cloud your gel. However, orange peel or cinnamon sticks should not be embedded into a gel candle as they absorb the gel and burn ... they could also cloud the gel, but that's actually a secondary...

    Wick Flooding Fix?

What is the diameter measurement of your container? Can you tell us what type of wax you're using and what type of wick? I agree, it's too big. You should never have to pour out melted wax, as I'm sure you already know!

    Please i need help!!

Although I don't use Eco wicks, I do use GW464 ... from your photo, it looks as though there are air pockets in your wax, as debratant mentioned, a "sink hole or void." From what I understand, the cause of this can have to do with a temperature difference between the glassware and the wax...

For lotion crafters, have you ever submitted your cosmetic as a drug to fda?

If the ingredients you are using are botanicals, minerals, or ingredients which are already approved, I've been under the impression that it's mostly a matter of having the proper labeling. This includes the listing of the ingredients and specific sizes of labels regarding container size, etc...

    A sewing thought

I would think that sewing a wallet, any wallet, would be a challenge for me ... never even thought of it! It's nice to know, however, that some people are able to do that.

    Any anti-aging recipe?

Beyond using nourishing creams, you may wish to look into using some colloidal gold in your recipe.

No idea where i keep going wrong!?

This has been interesting reading for someone like me who hasn't gotten their feet wet yet! It looks as though you've all possibly solved the mystery. I decided to further my education about lye, how to store it, etc. and see that there is a photo on the following page that shows what expired...

Can a few of you help me please?

So nice for people to honestly evaluate, really good suggestions too. I'd like to comment on this one though so we can have a semicolon debate, lol. I think rather than a period, it should be a semicolon.

Can a few of you help me please?

I can tell you've put much time into your site! It's a process, just like anything else! I did notice a couple of things during a quick glance -- "mayamade is also at various popup shops + art fairs around the twin cities are." ... area missing an "a" ... I know you're not using capital...

    Scented wax bars

The only air freshener type of projects I've done have been little stuffed items and pomanders made with an orange and clove buds. So, I went looking to see if I could find anything about this -- may have come up with a recipe on the following page. If you scroll down on this page...

    candle tins 8 oz

I agree that outdoor candles on a table setting probably shouldn't be scented -- an outdoor situation is kind of waste of scent except for the people sitting up close and some may not prefer the scent. I was talking with a candle customer today and she was telling me how she can't stand vanilla...
