Thank you everyone for your responses. I do think the air bubbles hid gel. The soap looks pretty good other than not having enough color or scent. I will eventually get that right too. I sliced it after 24 hours and its hardening up nicely. Its not burned. I will post a picture of it soon.

Yes, I used the full amount of water called for in the recipe. I measured all ingredients to the hundredth of an ounce.

This is my batch from the 24th. Its now 4 days old. I pulled it out of the mold after about 32 hours or so.. It looks like it has water marks on it. I was fairly exact with the recipe. Any ideas why it would do this and if it will go away? The recipe is attached, but I basically followed...

This is bugging me.... Soap helps water to wash oil/fat away... Right? It does this by binding with the fat molecule, right? So if we superfat, then doesn't that just give the soap something else to bind with rather than the fat/oil on your body? In this case wouldn't the superfat...
