What is corn cob filler? Is it the stuff for lining animal cages? I have some beautiful Asian fabric I am going to use for the sachets I want them to smell as good as they look. Thank you for your reply. Ginger
Hi all I have been looking for a high quality melt and pour base. I want to add a little something different to my current inventory of cp soaps.
I saw the base on wisteria lane's web site has any one tried it? I am looking to find something with out a ton of chemicals.
I use clear pillow boxes they look good stay clean and people can smell the soap . I got a lot of good feedback on the packaging at the show I did last week end. If you would like to see how they look you can check out my blog link on the bottom of this post. Ginger
I use dried zest when I rebatch goats milk. I used fresh once and the were mold issues that looked yucky when it showed up. The dried works fine for me and it adds a little scrubby action to the soap.
Yup it's a lot of soap. I have a 2 day craft show next month and a couple of more 1 day shows+ my Etsy shop. I want to have a good variety, I already have a bunch of goats milk I made a few months ago.
In the fall I do a 10 day show; so this summer I will be making several big batches like...
I rebatch because I have to many pets and I don't want to mess with the lye right now. I buy fresh soap base made to order that is so awesome to use and work with. Personally I like the rustic look.
