I want to make some sachets for my drawers and I don't have any orris root to fix the scent. Is there a substitute that can be found at grocery store? Corn starch perhaps? Thank you

I use clear pillow boxes they look good stay clean and people can smell the soap . I got a lot of good feedback on the packaging at the show I did last week end. If you would like to see how they look you can check out my blog link on the bottom of this post. Ginger

I use dried zest when I rebatch goats milk. I used fresh once and the were mold issues that looked yucky when it showed up. The dried works fine for me and it adds a little scrubby action to the soap. Ginger

I ordered some from BB and I really like it. It kind of reminds me of old fashion baby aspirin smell only better. My customers really like it. HTH Ginger

I rebatched 15 lbs of olive oil soap. 7 different scents; my drying room smells like heaven. I need to do some goats milk as soon as the olive oil is cured I am out of room, :D .
