    Greetings

I am horrible. I do one color. I have tried to play with colors and they never turn out so I stopped. My lavender soap gets some alkanet root. I do add powdered chocolate to my chocolate peppermint soap, which makes it a cream color with brown spots. My face soap is black. Most of my soaps are...

    Greetings

Greetings all, I have been a member for a while, but never introduced myself. I go by Fernie with most people. It is a nickname I was given a few years back that actually stuck. Soaping is a hobby that I make a few dollars doing. Not something I do to get rich, just enough to keep me busy and...

I have noticed that it does remove the strong odors you get from cutting certain foods. I do make it with the cheapest brand of ground coffee I can find, Have not noticed...

How do we feel about canola (rapeseed) oil?

The soaps I have used Canola oil in, tend to slime and they don't seem to last long. I would have to ask my soap testers, but I am sure that the one batch I did with canola was the one batch none of them liked.
