    Flower EO for soapmaking

I've used hyssop EO which doesn't accelerate or discolor. It's not that strong but it does stick in CP.

Oil's /you/ think are 'must have'

    Tallow, olive and castor.

    FINALLY a good rebatch

Agreed. Ael was v. respectful and polite; I guess I just don't see the point of turning on that critical eye unless it's requested. Maybe that attitude also contributes to the Pollyanna vibe - but again, there's a difference between blowing smoke and just not getting involved in the...

Gasoline Soap - The Real Thing!

DH made napalm in college. On a grill. We are both probably on some kind of watch list now, him for making it and me for posting about it. You too, Dennis!

    FINALLY a good rebatch

There's a difference between soliciting opinions ("Tell me what you think, be honest!") and saying you're proud of what you made, even if others don't like it. OP did the latter. How big a deal is overheating, really?

Made this GM soap last night. Cut it this am to find it oily and with non-zappy pockets. Is there any reason it wouldn't be safe to use since it's not zappy?

    FINALLY a good rebatch

Def not ugly. Looks like granite, as a pp said.

    Which Molds?

I used tupperware or casserole pans lined with plastic wrap.

    Lotion Bar Labels?

I don't know much about labelling laws, but it seems that's a tricky word, at least from what I see on this forum.

    Lotion Bar Labels?

Much better! For usage directions, how about, "Apply to dry skin daily"? It avoids the use of the word moisturizing (I'm not sure if that is problematic) and tightens up the language.

    Using Sage

Nope, sage EO doesn't speed up trace for me

    Summertime/Camper Soap Ideas

It's not camping, but it's summer gardening related. I made a gardener's soap with a layer coffee grounds, a plain layer, and a layer of ground, dried parsley - very scrubby to get all that garden dirt off my hands.
