Lemongrass Poppyseed FAIL - new pics added

Nothing wrong with your soap! It looks great! I've been making soap for 15 years, and it's just the normal process of a cold process soap curing. Sometimes cold process soaps surprise you with different colors as they cure. It's all part of the beauty of working with cold process!

    Question about working with clays

I've found that it depends on the fragrance oil. I've made soaps with clays and without clays, and in my experience, some fragrances just don't have staying power, and nothing I've added makes them stay.

    Lotion too thick

My advice would be to cut out the stearic first. I always use stearic when I'm making a cream, never a lotion. If that isn't enough, then cut out the cetyl alcohol next, and lastly, the butters. Or, you could try just cutting back on the butters after cutting out the stearic and cetyl...

SAVED extra lip balm stuff...Need HELP with recipe :(

Lip balm You can cut back on the candelila wax, or omit it altogether, especially if you are using any solid oils or butters such as cocoa butter, etc. It won't hurt to set this batch aside for now. You may find a way to use it at a later date.
