    do you have a recipe for bee pollen soap?? what are the benefits of bee pollen soap? I have honey bees and am trying to utilize everything I can for soapmaking. I think I'll start another thread for that one. lol

    I use tallow as well as lard. The lard is just easier. I don't have to render it, and wait for it. I usual render 10 lbs at a time. That lasts me a while. I use whatever I have on hand.     So you're saying it had more olive oil than sunflower oil, so if my recipe calls for 10 oz of olive oil, I can use 10 oz of this and it will work the same??

    Thanks everyone. I have never put soap in the fridge I have always wrapped it in blankets to keep it Warm. I will have to try it Though. That keeps it From going through the gel phase right? That also makes the colors brighter. Should do one now, just to see the difference. Hmmmm...

    I am betting it wasn't insulated enough. The top and one side had this dreaded color to it after 2 days in the mold. 2 thickness of heavy cardboard and a towel folded twice over it and under it. Any thoughts?? Thank you in advance.

    yes i have herd that the sugars and carbonation (even though you let the beer go flat) can cause it to erupt. been searching for a good fragrance oil. hard job. No one says they are any good. BB said theirs isn't supposed to smell like beer, so whats a girl to do??

    Soap calc iPhone apps

    Robert, I just used soapcalc on my iPhone, and I changed the settings to ounces, I added 5 different oils at 16 oz each, and it gave me a list in grams, ounces and pounds side by side. hope this helps.

The molds are covered with press and seal and put together and no leaks and it comes right apart with no tedious cutting and taping. The cutter can cut 3-1" bars lengthwise, or 1-3" bar widthwise any thickness in 1/4" increments...
