I just used peppermint tea and it made the lye solution a sickly orange brown. thankfully I was adding cocoa to it so you cant tell. lol.

I put cocoa powder in it. very nice natural scent

my first soap was all crisco, and it turned out really well. it doesnt have much bubbles, but is really creamy.

If you used alot of soap oils, that may be the reason. what is the recipe? That way we can give you a better answer
