    Ever used corn syrup as sugar substitute in CP?

    So what is the benefit of putting sugar in your and how much do you usually use? I make 3 lb batches. I've heard alot of people talk about using sugar. I tried powdered sugar one time but it made hard clumps in my lye water.

    Hello everyone. I am wanting to try my first batch of CP soap with silk in it. I know I put it in my lye solution, But I was wondering if anyone can tell me how much to put in it. I make 4 pound batches so how much silk should I use? I greatly appreciate any advice!!:-P

    Good morning everyone!! I made a batch of unscented goat milk soap 2 days ago. I took it out of the mold this morning. It has a beautiful creamy color and turned out great, except for the smell!! I hate the smell of it!! My question is can I rebatch goat milk soap or will it scorch the milk? :roll:

    I don't have a stick blender yet but I'm using a hand blender and rotating stirring with a fork. I've tried a couple different recipes. The last one I used was 25 ozs olive oil, 10 ozs coconut oil, 15 ozs walmart GV shortening, 2 ozs castor, 5.3 ozs lye and 10.6 ozs of water
