    Thanks Seawolfe :) I was figuring maybe it had something to do with the moisture because I just noticed it in the last couple of weeks.....and I look at them reasonably often. I'll have to have a think about how to handle it because I'm not really sure what to do :confused: I've moved them all...

    Hi, My remaining bar of my first batch has one orange spot after 5 months. And 2 of my other soaps, approx three months old are oily, like there's a layer on the top. I have used more than two bars of each batch and the soap is fine. Is it because they are on plastic racks in the garage...

    Kefir in soap

    Hi, I'm considering using kefir milk in my soap soon and just wondering how much to use. I don't want to use it as a replacement for the water in the lye mixture. Any suggestions as to how much per pound? And if I stir it in at trace is it still wise to freeze it? Thanks in advance :)

    It hasn't arrived yet so I don't know. They do recommend that if you fill it up to the top that you support the sides so it doesn't bow out. I think anything of that dimension is likely to bow. I've got a couple of their silicone slab moulds and I'm very happy with them. I had looked into...
