I have four soaps in my shower now, my favorite is the last bar of two year old Lavender Anise with activated charcoal and purple mica swirls, the lather is marvelous.

I love the smell of Pink Grapefruit in soap, but also have a hard time getting it to stick in the soap, I've tried Litsea Cubeba. Hadn't heard of the Kaolin clay trick but I will try that next time.

I made my first batch of masterbatch lye months ago, I made a couple batches of soap successfully. But it has now set for months in a Rubbermaid pitcher, it looks to have evaporated some water but I'm not sure how much, I should have marked with tape the level in the pitcher. There are flakes...

I just made a Tallow soap with Master batched lye and my additional liquid was Aloe Vera Juice (warmed) that I mixed salt into and added to my warmed oils and then the master-batched lye, it all worked great.
