I cant wait. I use my soap immediately and havent had any problems. I made cream and solid soap last weekend and have used both. Can't wait to compare after 4-8 weeks.

That maybe true, I'm using oxides as well. I do put a bit much. How much should I be using?

Hey guys! So I've gotten inspiration from the last thread on soap balls, but this isn't really about that. I am having major problems incorporating colour into raw soap. I've started using the lye solution methods and its worked but I would like to make several different types of soap...

So, I've been playing with soapcalc and the soap properties section. Trying to devise my owe recipe. So I tried castor oil at 35% while other oils like Olive, palm, almond, coconut and lard are between 10-20%. According to soapcalc this would make a very creamy, conditioning and fairly hard...

Thanks carebear, I used your recipe...made a citrus and poppy seed soap. It was great! A bit soft. I'm finding that all my soaps are coming out very soft. Am I doing something wrong or is this "normal". I've done other batches well one that came out well and it was harder than these recent...

No I don't, I live in the Bahamas. I would have to take a look around, previously I found Olive oil for $16, I'm just unsure how old the oil is. I'll try and pick some up this week though.
