Thanks so much @alistairuk! I have some scales that will measure out a tiny amount like this. Thanks for the tip on the weight comparisons, I’ll give it a try! Atlanta Lily

    Melt and Pour Colours

Thanks for the tip. I am quite tempted with the solos as I’ve heard ‘a little goes a long way.’ It’s quite a vibrant colour (which I’m looking for and I don’t think I’d get that with the clays so much). The solos seem to be in good supply unlike the zenicolor pro (another option) where I found...

Thanks @Bubble Agent. I’ve thought about (and heading down) the paper route but this Polyolefin has given me another option to look into ☺️

    Sinking Feeling

Hello, I’ve been making my soaps and have found that the mica I use in one recipe and the poppy seeds in another, have sunk to the bottom of soap (some is suspended but there is definitely more of a collection at the bottom). How do I keep it from falling so much? Any tips???

trade certified scales for soap making ( UK)

Hi I’m jumping on this thread as I need a new set of scales too and found this on Google. @Soaparonie do you have the soap kitchen link that says it doesn’t need to be trade scales? I’d like to read up on it. I’m not yet selling but trying to get everything all straight before I do… it’s such a...
