Drive a stake - my Halloween soap

I made this soap as a Halloween give away. Poured some black lye, added some white for the collar, black for the bow, red for the blood Driving the stake asked for a hero - my 10 years old boy came to the rescue right in time  Folding the coffin from paper was a challenge, but we did...

What type of soaper are you? (humor thread)

Lardist, latherer, I tend to binge soaping, (like other people check the fridge for food at 2:00 o'clock in the morning. i always make sure I have a 1 lb masterbatch on hand, just incase I need to make a soap at night)

    Savon détachant - stain remover

Memories of Southern France while cleaning the house? - well - I found a way  Savon détachant (coconut oil 25%, beef tallow 25%, olive oil 50%, kaolin clay as % of oil 10, orange EO as % of oil 10, 0-1% superfat) easy to make, works well, smells nice

I tried my glow-in-the-dark pigments in transparent M&P soap, embedded in black and violet CP. My kids love it - me, too!

    lemons

I thought about trying caustic soda in the bathtub on my teenage kid. Found out it's against EU regulations. Too many questions and lots of paperwork afterwards ;-) So when you came up with the idea of making a silicone mold from your kid, I thought it's the better choice. But then you end...

    lemons

I had too many lemons. I cut them into halves and made silicone molds. A tiny little bit of green for the stem, carefully trying to attach some yellow to the walls, filling up with white..Tadaaa! The darker lemons smell of Scentperfique "Lemon Curd" Yummy, but discolorating The yellow ones...

    Sunshine Soleseife

I'm curious, whether the beta carotene is going to be stable. I used carrot juice and got nice orange soaps, but after a year or so the orange faded (it's still a lovely "apricot"). Probably the juice did not contain enough beta carotene. Maybe the pure stuff is the clue.

    Why is my balm gritty?

I put my balms into the freezer right away. So there's no time left for the shea butter to turn gritty. Give it a try.
