HP batch is slightly lye heavy

Hi!
Just made my usual batch of HP Marseille soap (72% olive, 28% coconut) but when I zap tested, there was a small zap.
As I'm just new to soap making I'd love some advice how to fix this? Will letting it cure longer do the trick or can I rebatch it - if so how?

Waiting for curing can be hard, but rebatching is so much worse (IMO). Definitely let it cure for a few days to a few weeks before trying again, and the zap will likely be gone.

If it's your usual recipe and it hasn't been lye heavy before - you would need to have increased the lye amount to make it lye heavy this time (or decreased the oil amount). So I think the issue is probably just that it hasn't fully saponified yet, so it should be fine in a couple of days.

How long did you wait before you zap tested? 2 minutes? 2 hours? 2 days?
