we had a thread going a few weeks ago about whiteness in goats milk soap. Mine tend to be a beautiful cream color no matter how cool I keep the lye solution and even though I freeze the loaf. SO, I have some friends coming over for a little soap class. I planned to make GM soap. Imagine my surprise when I picked up the can and realized that it's concentrated milk! So, I've been soaping GM at 200%. No wonder the lye solution looks more like cake batter when I mix it. I gotta say thought, it's great soap. The last lady I gave it to told me last night at dinner that she washes her hair with it.
