Have you run this recipe through soapcalc? If so, please provide the hardness, cleansing, etc. numbers and/or the fatty acid profile for the recipe -- that would be a courtesy to share; otherwise you're expecting each of us to do that work before we can respond. Also, what is your superfat, what amount of water are you using, and what kind and amount of additives are you planning to include?

Hardness 35

Stearic 6
Ricinoleic 5

additives cream, gm, bm or any combination of the above as well as SL

I'm not one to COMPLETELY trust soapcalc numbers because it tells you castile is a soft soap when we all know they are rock hard after their cure.

thanks

The hardness number is an indicator of hardness at the time of unmolding; it's not valid to use it to predict hardness after cure.

The basic recipe looks to me like it will be fine. Thanks for sharing the other info -- a great help. Be careful that the fat in your milk or cream doesn't up your superfat more than you'd like -- that will add softness to a recipe. Sodium lactate can also soften a soap if added at too high a %.
