I am sorry, I have not been following your threads so do not have all the facts. I would like to address the trolling issue though.
Every month we have 2-3 newbies join the forum who think they can sell their soaps without any testing or knowledge. We attempt to point them in the right direction. We attempt to dissuade them from selling until they know what they are doing. Then in a few months they come running back shouting OMG, the soap I sold burned someone or turned rancid... what do I do now?
The fact is, anyone can do nearly anything that they want. A person can sell cat poop in a ziplock & call it a new fangled body wash so long as they label it correctly.
As moderators and admin on this forum we attempt to nip early selling in th bud so we don't have to clean up the mess when the person(s) comes running back. We also have a responsibility to the other new soap makers to not have bad information or unrealistic expectations on the board for all to see. If one soaper is selling her 1st batch of soap that has not even cured yet, all the other newbies see that & think it must be OK since we as admin did not advise against it.
Sometime people will come in here & say hey I just made my 1st batch of soap & plan to sell it just to see if we, as mean old' moderators, will snap at them. They do this as entainment because they have nothing better to do. Sometimes they come over from other forums & pose as newbies to try & stir up some "jr. high school' trouble."
Honestly, you are about the 3rd person this week that referenced selling in a thread where you cleary did not know enough about the process to even be thinking about selling. I am sorry if you thought you were being picked on.
Since I did not follow your thread, I do not have all the details, but I can assure you moods have better things to do than be nasty. We do get
frustrated. Our herd is large and sometime difficult to manage.
I deleted the other thread. I saw no reason to air the dirty laundry. That is not helpful to anyone.
