how long does it usually take for soap to discolor? i made a choc soap and didn't color it because it is supposed to discolor but the only part that is brown is the part that was touching air (the top). the inside is creamy white. i need brown! lol
will it discolor as it sits and cures?

I was curious, so I tested two bars made with chocolate FO,

3 wk old, still tan inside except the very thin layer exposed to air. Brown goes about 1/8 inch into bar.

3 month old bar. Brown most of the way through, but a nickel sized circle of light soap on the inside.

my fingers are crossed for brown. i used both choc and coffee fo so, it should be brown darnit!! lol, the one time i am depending on a discolor it decides not to happen....

fingers are crossed though. :D
