I picked up some powdered ginger root and powdered soy protein I was going to experiment with. Any suggestions on how much to use ppo? Also any tips for small batches?

What is the benefit to use all this powders - ginger, soy protein, milk, etc?

The ginger is unlikely to smell like anything after saponification but it might give you a nice color. I can't speak to the soy protein.

The milk and soy powders have proteins that are beneficial to the skin and lend a silkiness to the soap. The powdered ginger I'm mostly just going to see if I can pull the scent through.

The added silkyness I agree with but the proteins benefiting the skin I don't understand. Could you explain how that works?

Well, not really. I have read that soy proteins are great skin conditioners and that soy is rich in [SIZE=-1]Lecithin, omega 3 and 6 but am admittedly completely ignorant on the mechanics of how that makes better or worse soap.
