I just made some soap and wrapped it on a heating pad to gel.

Sadly, the soap didn't like her.
It has started overheating. I unwrapped it about an hour ago, but it has now started bulging, so in the fridge it went. Lets hope it helps.

Should we create a new method of making soap -- CPCP = cold process, cat process?

All that lovely long fur and warm cat body -- no wonder your soap started to overheat!

Pretty kitty! Reminds me of a friend's story of the family cat taking a nap in a pan of warm brownies. Luckily the brownies were covered with plastic wrap, so they were flat, but not furry.

That is so funny! My cat sleeps in the oddest places too. And her kittens are even funnier - one of them actually went to sleep in the litter box (clean thank goodness!). And they are regularly found curled up in a pile in the bathroom sink
