Today we get a public holiday ...

The weather is barely making it onto the news, and even that is being held live, track-side.

Phar Lap was born in the 1920's ... goes with this months soaping theme :smile:

Only Victoria gets a Holiday, no other state :cry: and I didn't even watch it, couldn't tell you who won, I'll watch the news tonight for that.

But that's so sad! (and unfair!)

(Was in full Australia in the 1920's mode ... but I doubt I could put Phar Lap on a soap :think:)

I watched the race but didn't bet on it. No holiday here in NSW but just about every business stops to watch the race!
