Royal jelly in face oil

I wanted to make a face oil/serum including rose hip oil, primrose oil, vitamin e, essential oil blend and maybe couple others. Would adding royal jelly be ok? I'm guessing it'll shorten the shelf life significantly? This would be for personal use. I've been researching a bit yesterday and today but there seems to be many views on this.

I don't know if royal jelly has any water content... Honey for instance does not blend well with oils without an emulsifier, but you can make it work in a sugar scrub if you stir fast and add the sugar immediately after stirring. Does not need a preservative- I've had sugar scrub jars for about a year with no nasties with honey. Royal jelly though may be a whole other ball of wax...

Royal jelly is water-based so you would need to emulsify it with the oils....

And with water based ingredients, a preservative is also a very good idea
