Only a doctor can reliably diagnose a rash. It could be something simple, could be something serious. No way of knowing if minerals/mud can help without knowing what's causing the rash. Sorry... 
I agree, you should have it checked by your doctor. Trying something without knowing what it is could actually make it worse.

Doctor only doctor then eventually home remedies, but it must be checked by doc.
