I recommend you leave your extracts for cooking, they do not pull through scent wise.
 
Extract isn't essential oil, so no... But I don't suggest vanilla eo as it's expensive. WSP's vanilla fragrance oil is a good choice, free shipping at the moment.
 
Extracts will often cause soap to seize because of the alcohol content. I don't recommend it.
 
i will not do this but i was wondering ~just for the knowledge factor~ what if you heated all the alcohol out of the vanilla extract? not enough to burn it or anything but just enough to get the alcohol out, what are you left with then?
 
A very small amount of a tacky brown fluid, like Vanilla Oleoresin 10 Fold that has been watered down in potency.

lol, i thought about that after i had posted, like what if it is all alcohol and a tiny bit of sugar and vanilla flavor or what ever. i'd be left with a stain. :lol:
