Well I have secured the rare and not easy to find bay laurel berry oil found in Aleppo soap. I am freaking out. It is a costly oil and Im trying to blend essential oils. I need so serious help this stuff is rare (flown in from turkey and from a friend) can anyone help me on an essential oil blend with these 2. I smelled them together. I want something fresh and unisex.

Bergamot tends to fade in CP - it does not play nicely with lye. You might want to do this one with the HP method and add the EO blend at the end of the cook to retain as much scent as possible.

To blend, I use drops on a cotton ball or a coffee filter. Put it in a ziploc bag and sniff after a couple of hours. Adjust as needed until you get what you want. However, the scent might change in the finished soap as some EOs are longer lasting than others.
