I was wondering if anyone here knows if I can use CP, lye based soap as an embed for melt and pour soap.

I want to make a bottom layer from cold process soap to make the sand floor of my aquarium melt and pour soap. So I was thinking to use my silicone mold and first make a small batch of CP soap to make a "sand" base and let it set up for a week then use my clear melt and pour soap with blue tinting on top of it and maybe use thin slivers of green colored MnP as seaweed then embed some tiny vinyl fishes into the blue melt and pour water.

Any ideas or tips appreciated.
Thanks

Is there any issue with adhesion of the MnP to CP soap? Or just spray alcohol on the CP layer then layer the MnP on top?

Colloidal oats mixed in with your soap make a nice sand and provide some exfoliation as well
