So my cans arrived so I can start exploring the world of shaving soaps to create for myself and my friends.
I want to start with a relatively simple recipe. I tend to make all my soaps with beer these days so would like to explore that but also happy to just go for distilled water instead.

- What fragrances would you guys recommend? I am currently using a beautiful citrus smelling shaving soap from the states (I am accross the Pacific in Australia)
- I have some stearic acid on my shelf. I haven't used it yet so any tips for use?
- The common oils I tend to use in my different recipes are: Sunflower, Olive, Palm Oil, Coconut, Rice Bran. So if we can stick to this or if there are anything else cost effective you would recommend and formulas?
- Add Beer or not to add beer?
