Iam not sure if anyone remembers but a while back we had a member that was experimenting with dripping water through ashes to make his own lye solution, and then succeeded in producing soap from that. I cannot find this thread for the life of me... if anyone has it bookmarked somewhere that would be awesome or at least remembers the name of the author...that would be good too... this way i can look it up that way!...
