Clay, necessary to use suspension base?

I have some good goat milk base from WSP but it's not suspension kind and has a lot of titanium dioxide in it so colored clay might not even show very well. What kind of of base is good for adding clay once you've mixed it with alcohol as instructed on Brambleberry. I do know you can't mix the heck out of it like you do with cold process to get it all uniform. Or bubbles happen on the backs of the bars.
 
If I remember correctly, WSP recommends 6% of additives to their M&P. There is quite a bit of TD in that base. I don't think a colored clay would make a difference. That being said, clays do add a lot to soap so if it were me, I would separate out some of the GM base, calculate the 6% math and mix clay, EO/FO and some additional colorant to get what you want.
