For any of you good people that knit or crochet you might be interested in reading about these Knit Knockers for Breast Cancer patients. My market is at a Kaiser and they have a group working on these for the hospital. I am starting some tonight. https://www.knittedknockers.org/

I could see this becoming a thread in the crafts and other things. Especially if there was a "how to not tangle yourself while making knockers" tutorial.

I'd offer to stuff my trivets, but I have the feeling they'd be hideously lumpy. :cry:
 
I'll knit some 5318008! It might turn into a scarf. Everything I knit turns into a scarf :???:
 
Does a knitted boob need a nipple?

Different strokes for different folks?

I've seen lots of patterns, some with and without the nipple. The best additions that I've seen are a prayer stone or something for weight and washable covers for the prosthetic.
