My husband's aunt and uncle came to our house for lunch this week. They are both in their early 80's, have been married 60 years, and are truly each other's best friend. Of course I was giving them some soap. Because I realize everyone isn't a crazy soap person with multiple bars of soap in the shower, I asked if they used the same shower/tub to figure out if I should give them unisex scents, or mix it up with some floral or manly scents too. They use separate bathrooms because his aunt prefers a bath. And then she told me that her DH draws a bath for her every morning. I just found this little gesture so touching and sweet. I'm still smiling 4 days later. It's so often about the little things.
