Gaius (11 yrs) is the only kid home this week. What did he want to do? Make soap! He picked Rosemary and lavender EOs and his own blend of herbal tea as the water. He measured everything and did the hanger swirl himself.

You must be one proud papa! I wish I had a cool kid to soap with. Quick question -- How did you/he handle making the lye solution???

I always thought Artemis is a Mom... Maybe it's the way he/she describe things.

That picture is of Gaius when he was in the third grade. The moustache is his George Washington Carver costume. He's the guy that started us soaping-- Gaius wanted to make peanut oil soap to show in his presentation at school.
