Hi :D

Does adding color to bath salts always cause the water to change to the color added?

Is this all right?

I add enough color to make the salts look pretty, but they don't color the water and I wouldn't want them to. If that's happening, you may be adding too much. What type colorants are you using and how much?

They're powder dyes? I think it's odd that they say to add the powder directly to the salts. I would disperse them in something first. I have some lakes and they say to disperse in oil, but honestly, I use water and it works great.

The reason I think it's odd is that the powdered dyes are extremely potent and it would be very easy to over do the color. Usually you'd just need a few drops for bath salts if using a liquid dye. You wouldn't want to put a lot of water in bath salts, but a few drops are just fine.
