I always hear "curing time depends on your recipe" .. well how do we know? I have been letting all my soaps cure for 6 weeks, however I have recently started using two harder oils with Olive oil and was wondering if this creates as shorter curing time like 4 weeks? Is there some kind of curing "guide" I can find anywhere? Here is my most recent recipe;

Palm oil 40%
olive oil 35%
coconut oil (76deg) 25%
water as percent of oil 38%
super fat 5%
Lye concentration 27.27%
water : lye ratio 2.667:1

Also I used 2 tsp of titanium oxide and 2oz of cashmere fragrance oil, this is for a two pound log. Does titanium oxide speed curing time?

With a recipe like yours that has a good amount of hard fats, 4 weeks is a good cure time. If it's castile, they say it needs a lot more time. This is just my opinion. I have a recipe with a similar amount of hard fat and 4 weeks works nicely for me.
