These came out much better then my last batch.
Scented with bergamot essential oil, which is my favorite essential oil so far!
 
I find black walnut hulls make a nice brown, but watch out for scratchiness. I have concluded after using it that it's best left to hand soap; not in a body bar. But perhaps your black walnut hull powder is a finer powder than mine.

It's probably not. And yes, I have noticed how rough it is. Bit of a disappointment since it makes such a lovely deep brown color. Looking back on it now, I probably should have used some of the cocoa powder that I bought recently. That was my last bit of black walnut powder, so no more using it for now at least.
