Our super famous Deda did a gift box a while ago - with 4 soaps laying flat with dividers and some lip balm thrown in.

I'm trying to figure out how to dress up the soaps I'm giving for christmas and thought of that. But I don't know where to get just the right boxes cheap. So I'm looking for other ideas - anyone mind throwing some this way? I'm giving to family and friends that spend obnoxious amounts of money for gifts and want it to be "on par" with them. Possibly a lot to ask lol Thanks :D

Maybe try Michael's craft store? A few weeks ago, I went to my local Michael's because they were having a 50% off all their baskets. I was able to buy some baskets for gift giving and also some really cool looking decorative boxes with built-in magnetic flip top covers, which happened to be on clearance. I tried to look for the exact boxes online so I could link a pic, but I couldn't find them. They are similar to these, though, only with different artsy designs on them and different dimensions:

The decorative boxes I happened to have bought are the exact shape/size of my 2 lb log mold -just perfect for my soaps.

I am allergic to craft stores (I prefer hardware stores LOL) but I will suck it up and go this weekend. That is a great idea, don't know why I didn't think of it! :D

Amy take a look at Nashville Wraps http://www.nashvillewraps.com/christmas-wrapping-paper/christmas-boxes/c-047853.html

I want to get some different sizes for Christmas so I can mix it up a bit.
