Help with oil infusions

I am trying to make all natural lip balms. I want a coconut flavor but more than using organic coconut oil. Is it possible to cut up a coconut and steep the raw meat to extract more flavor? Do you think it will work?

I don't think it would create a flavor that lasts very long at all

you might have better luck trying a different organic oil. sounds like the one you got was processed.
