I just started making M & P soaps. I did a batch the other day using micas from elements. I mixed it with a bit of pure glycerin before pouring into the soap. The colors in the white based soaps stayed the same. The clear base came out beautiful dark sparkly colors. The next day, the blue in the clear base had completely vanished and the other 2 colors turned a light neon. I though that micas were the best for m & p?

Hi! Sorry to hear about the color. Was the soap laying in direct sunlight by any chance? That would have done it.

Good luck

They were sitting on my kitchen counter, but not near the window. It would have had more light if I had it in my bathroom with the window. It says they are for soaps, lotions and creams. The color is still in the white base just not in the clear. I guess I will have to test different brands.
