Bath Fizzies that are not molded

Do bath bombs have to be molded? Can they be made like all crumbled up and just in a bag? Would they be called bath fizzies then? I hope I am making sense... I was thinking I saw some one time that you just sprinkle in your tub

Yep, that's how I usually do my bath fizzy powder because I have the hardest time getting my bombs to stick together.
 
That's what I use any leftover bath bomb material for. I put it in a plastic container and take as much as I like out and scent it with EO before tossing it in my tub at home. I also leave it loose for client footbaths at work. They seem to really like the fizzing action as the scent of EO releases.
