Hey all. Wanted to say hi since I just found this place. I am a pharmacist who stumbled on the soap making subreddit a little while ago and was fascinated by the process. I have been reading up on soap making for a couple of weeks now and think I might try my first batch soon. I know I am going to be asking a bunch of questions so thanks for your answers and patience in advance!

Hello and welcome!! Ask away. Also, I highly recommend you read the last 10 or so pages in the beginners section and the lye section. You can glean a lot of information there too.
